Latino Professionals in Aerospace (LPA) is the leading association and voice for professionals from Latino cultures across the world. We are dedicated to opening doors and elevating opportunities for our members across the aerospace industry.
Our Story
Founded in 2015, what began as an organization supporting Latino pilots has grown into a powerful community representing engineers, researchers, air traffic controllers, educators, astronaut and every vital role in between.

Our mission is clear: to inspire, mentor, and develop the Hispanic/Latino community by advancing careers, amplifying voices, and increasing representation in every corner of aerospace.
We are here to break barriers, build bridges, and ensure that the next generation sees themselves in the skies and beyond.
Our Community & Impact
With over 3,300 members across the globe, including 1,200 student members and 30+ local and student chapters, LPA is a diverse, global network united by purpose. Through mentorship, advocacy, education, and connection, we create pathways for success and innovation.
Our impact is measurable: by 2024, LPA has awarded $2.4 million in scholarships, ensuring financial obstacles do not stand in the way of aspiring aerospace leaders.
